For darkfield microscopy

A darkfield condenser is used when working in the darkfield method. The darkfield method in stereomicroscopy is used for gemological research – evaluation and detection of hidden defects in precious, semi-precious, and ornamental stones.

The darkfield condenser is installed above the transmitted light illuminator: on the base of the stereomicroscope and in place of the transparent board.


Recommended for use with the MAGUS GK1 gem clip.
