The stainless steel filter is protected by a heavy-duty metal housing to maintain effective filtrationin order to protect sensitive pumps and irrigation equipment against grain and sediment. The heavy filter housing also helps the filter to sink to stay below water, resulting in less air being pumped for a safe pump application.

Spring-loaded Backflow Preventer
When water flows backwards through a drainage system the pump needs to evacuate the complete system for every single use which ends in long waiting times until the water is available. This is why GARDENA’s suction filter set includes a spring-loaded backflow preventer to ensure that water always travels in the right direction even the suction depths are low.

Sturdy coupling option for floater accessories
In use cases where sediment has accumulated at the bottom of the cistern, a floating suction ball (not included) can be easily and securely attached to ensure that the filter remains close to the top of the site, preventing excess sediment from clogging the filter.
