The JJC MMB-1 Magnetic Mounting Base Kit is specially designed for mounting a small camcorder, action camera, or monitor onto a flat iron surface such as cars, boats, fridges, etc. The kit includes a magnetic mounting base, a mini ball head, and a mount adapter for action cameras.
The magnetic mounting base features a strong magnet with a compact 66mm / 2.6" diameter, delivering an impressive 20kg / 44 lbs magnetic force and a firm attachment to flat and stationary surfaces. The mini ball head, small camcorder or monitor can be mounted to the base via the 1/4"-20 screw on the top of the base. The rubber-coating mounting base is thoughtfully enhanced to protect both the mounting surface and your device to prevent slipping or shifting while safeguarding surfaces from potential scratches.
The 1/4"-20 female thread on the bottom of the mini ball head allows you to mount this ball head to the magnetic mounting base. The product's adaptability is further evident in its multi-angle rotation, which meets different shooting angles' needs. The cold shoe mount and 1/4"-20 screw can be switched freely according to your demands via that adapter. You can both mount it to devices with a 1/4"-20 screw socket and attach accessories with a standard shoe mount to the clip, such as a LED lamp, microphone, etc. This mini ball head supports up to 5kg (11lbs).
This mount adapter allows you to mount your action camera to devices, such as a tripod, hand grip, chest belt, bicycle, helmet, and so forth, freeing your hand for shooting.
